Janina-sweater got its inspiration from a lovely singer Janina Suihkola and from her love of knitting, Norwegian mountains and nature.
Janina is knitted seamlessly from top down with lace patterns in the yoke part and at the bottom of the hem. The lace pattern is followed from two different charts. The whole yoke is knitted from chart 1 until the separation phase, after which knit stockinette to the desired length. After this, the last patterns are knitted from chart 2.

Length of the hem measured from armpit: 36 cm or wanted
Circumference of the sleeve measured from the widest point:
40 (40, 40, 40, 50) (50, 50, 50, 50) cm
YARN: Knitting for Olive Heavy Merino 50 g – 100 m or some other similar DK-Aran weight yarn.
USAGE: 9 (10, 10, 11, 11) (12, 13, 14, 15) balls of yarn or 450 (480, 500, 530, 550) (600, 650, 700, 750) g
NEEDLES: 4 mm (80 cm) circular needles for the body, 3 mm (40/60 cm) circular needles for the collar, 3 mm DPN´s for the sleeve rib
GAUGE: 20 sts x 26 row = 10 x 10 cm with stockinette stitch
