Needles: Circular needles 4 mm / US 6, 80 cm / 32” for body, 4 mm / US 6, 40 or 60 cm / 16” or 24” for sleeves, and 3 mm / US 2.5, 60 cm / 24” for collar, and DPNs 3 mm / US 2.5 for cuffs.

Gauge: 22 sts × 26 rnds = 10 × 10 cm / 4 × 4” over colorwork in the round

Notions: Stitch markers, darning needle and waste yarn/stitch cord.

WORKFLOW

Porvoo Sweater is worked from the bottom up. The front and back as separated at the underarms and the sweater is completed flat. Finally, stitches are picked up for the sleeves and collar to work them separately.
