MEASURMENTS OF THE FINISHED DRESS:

Recommended positive ease approx. 0–5 cm or desired ease.

Bust circumference: 1 = 70-76 / 2 = 77-83 / 3 = 84-92 / 4 = 93–100 / 5 = 101-109 / 6 = 110-116 / 7 = 117-124 / 8 = 125-134 / 9 = 135–143 / 10 = 144–152 cm.

Length of the hem measured from armpit: 110 cm or desired length.

Circumference of the sleeve measured from the widest point: 30 (30, 30, 30, 35) (35, 40, 40, 45) 45 cm.

YARN: Hjerte garn Merino Cotton 50 g / 120 m OR some other similar weight yarn.

USAGE: 14 (15, 15, 16, 16) (17, 17, 18, 18) 19 balls of yarn or any other DK/Aran-weight yarn.

Usage for the top of the dress: 2 (2, 2,5, 2,5, 3) (3,5, 3,5, 4, 4) 4,5 balls of yarn.

Usage for the sleeves: 3 (3, 3,5, 4, 4) (4,5, 4,5, 5, 5) 5,5 balls of yarn.

Length for the hem with 1 ball of yarn: 12 (12, 11, 11, 10) (10, 9, 9, 8) 8 cm

If you want to change your length of the hem, notice that in your usage!

NEEDLES: 3.5 /4 mm circular needles for the body and sleeves, make sure your gauge is correct! 4 mm circular needles to collars i-cord

 GAUGE: 20-21 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm with stockinette sts.

YOU ALSO NEED: Tapestry needle, scrap yarn/cable and stitch markers

 

Victoria is knitted top down starting from the backpiece which is knitted flat to a rectangular shape. After this you knit the left and right shoulder, for which the stitches are picked from the casted edge of the backpiece. After this, the stitches of the shoulder pieces are joined, and the front piece is knitted flat to its desired length. The front and backpiece are joined in rounds under the arms, after that knit the hem to its desired length. You can do decreases and increases along the way to get the wanted shape.
